Tax credit
If you are 70 years of age or older, the tax system provides you with financial assistance in the form of a refundable tax credit for expenses related to home support services. This tax credit is intended to make it easier for you to stay at home and thus prevent or delay your accommodation in the public health and social services network. Here are some services that we offer and that are eligible for the tax credit: mowing the lawn, cleaning the land, collecting leaves, manual snow removal of sidewalks and stairs.
